Before I begin this exciting post, how are you?
We are well and currently enjoying another sweltering summer our wonderful Australia has gifted us, it’s soooo hot.
Today I have something very exciting for you which has been in the making for quite a while. Yes, it’s a collaboration, and this time its with Shoo Natural!
Now for those of us who aren’t familiar with Shoo, they are a British based company which thrives on creating natural skincare for your pet and wait for it… you too! Yes that’s right, not only does Shoo make and sell products for your dogs skin and hair, but you can also use them on yourself; how versatile is that. Shoo Natural products are vegan and animal cruelty free, and contain no harsh chemicals. As well as all that, they also give back to the community by donating their products to animal shelters and homeless shelters! I love the road Shoo Natural is taking, it’s things like giving back and helping out others which make the world just that bit better. Like my grandma always told me, if you’re positive, positive things will come your way and positivity will surround you.
But enough of the jibber jabber, let’s get into the juicy stuff, the products!!
(To watch our review of Shoo’s products, watch our video on our YouTube channel x)
To start off, how good do these products look! Ooof the packaging just gets me it’s so cool and adorable!
The Shampoo –
Kept in a sleek 200ml bottle, the Shoo Natural dog shampoo is so soft and gentle on your pets skin and fur, yet leaves no grime or slime in sight after use. I died for the packaging on these products, its very Andy Warhol and so retro!
As I said in the video, Zac’s hair is thick and takes so long to get a lather on, so I wasn’t expecting miracles and for there to be bubbles galore. But this shampoo lived it up and gave Mr. Chan’s hair a good old fight anyway, giving us bubbles and lather in decent time.
Our Rating: 7.5/10.
The Conditioner –
Again contained in just 200ml, Shoo has created a natural dog conditioner which is lightweight and leaves your dogs hair de-frizzed and soft. Great idea having contrasting packaging, I’m really digging it!
Still not 100% if I’m on the conditioner for dogs bandwagon, but I like that it softened Zac’s hair and left it feeling light and not weighed down.
Our Rating: 7/10.
Overall, we liked the shampoo and conditioner duo. Taking into consideration that they are made of natural ingredients and contain to chemicals as to not damage your pooches prized mop, the cleaning effort they gave was mighty.
Overall Rating: 14.5/20
As well as the shampoo and conditioner, Shoo Natural sent us something really interesting. I love the idea and think it would make a lovely gift for any pooch lovers out there.
The Shoo Natural Handmade Aromatherapy Medallion set consists of two beautiful clay handcrafted medallions for you and your dog, and an essential oil.
The idea is to place 2-3 drops of your chosen essential oil onto each medallion, wait to dry before wearing, then experience the soft aroma throughout the day as you hug your dog and sport the necklace. It’s a great way to personalise you and your dog, and express the bond you share.
Our Rating: 8/10 for creativity and imagination.
